A Short Life. A Lasting Impact.
Created in honor of Baby D, the Dawoodbhai Legacy Project helps families facing pregnancy and infant loss find financial support and compassionate resources. We honor his memory by helping others feel supported during an incredibly difficult time. 
Our Story
A precious baby boy was born 14 weeks early. His entry into this world, came when the mother went into preterm labor and in transport to the hospital by ambulance. Mother and child were taken to Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin and Children Hospital in Milwaukee; however, a day later, he passed away. From the lonely depths of grief the family went through in the next hours, days, and weeks, the Dawoodbhai Legacy Project and Fund was created.
